I have never offered a “cake” because I was not a fan of them. In French, we call those cakes "travel cakes", because this is really easy to take everywhere.
Finally, I just took up an old recipe and did one. It was really delicious. It's done, I'm going for it.
I offer you a lemon cake. In winter, when it's the orange season, very good and juicy, we can switch with orange.
Just be aware, this cake requires 1 hour of cooking.
You can bake it at my place and wait until it is done, or you can also take it and bake in your place. Nothing else to do than to put in your oven.

All purpose flour-butter-sugar-lemon or orange zest-eggs-heavy cream- a little bit of rum….
